American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ cosmetic procedure statistics are in for 2009 and there are some surprising new numbers.

Latinos are loving cosmetic procedures but plastic surgery is down with Asians.

The most popular procedures for Latinos are breast augmentation, liposuction and nose jobs.

African-Americans had an estimated 990,000 procedures in 2009. Their most popular plastic surgeries are liposuction,nose jobs and breast reductions.

Statistics among all patients show breast augmentation was up 36 percent and tummy tucks were up 84 percent in 2009.

Rosland Renee Edwards of Berkeley, CA used a Florida woman’s stolen American Express card to get the surgeries.
