Warning: You Could Die If Your Cosmetic Surgery Is Not Sanitary
By PSAuthority on Sep 17, 2008 in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery
Before you consider having any plastic or cosmetic surgery done, you need to check out the sanitary conditions of your hospital or treatment facility.
This is more important than ever since reports are coming out about illnesses and problems with unsanitary conditions such as the dialysis center in New York which was shut down recently due to a hepatitis C outbreak.
One patient has already been diagnoised with hepitatus C and over 700 more dialysis patients are being encouraged to get tested.
If you think conditions at any health treatment center, including your plastic surgeon’s office or your recovery location are not as clean as you think they should be, speak up.
Also, another good tip is to take an advocate with you when you go for your surgery or your treatments. This person can be your spouse, a friend, a parent, or even a neighbor or co-worker.
An advocate is there to observe and listen for instructions and can be your eyes and ears as well as your spokesperson. In fact, your advocate could, under certain conditions, possibly save your life.
You can avoid dangerous and heartbreaking situations due to unsanitary conditions if you and your advocate are observant and are not afraid to voice your opinions about cleanliness.
