Embalmers Take Cosmetic Procedures to the Next Level

Embalmers such as Isaiah Owens of Harlem’s Owens Funeral Home are taking cosmetic procedures to the next level-for the dead.
“I make the ashes beautiful,” says Owens who has built a big reputation for making the dead look good.
As more morticians and funeral home directors are being called upon to improve the appearance of the dead, they are using many of the same techniques as cosmetic surgeons use on the living.
These include tissue fillers, wax and botox. In fact, some morticians claim they were using botox first and the cosmetic surgeons got the idea from them.
