The proposed new botax, or the tax on plastic surgery, is causing waves in the medical community.

If the tax does go through in the new healthcare bill, plastic surgery procedures could be taxed.  Doctors are afraid that would drive out patients who will seek cheaper surgery out of America.  Some doctors fear that would be unsafe.

Others think the tax could be seen as discrimination against women because women have most of the plastic surgery procedures.
